Service Description
In Body Awake Yoga (BAY)*, we blend the ancient practice of asana with some practices from the Energy Codes. We cultivate essence or prana before placing our bodies into sacred geometrical shapes (asana). Once in asana, we breathe and focus our awareness in specific ways to magnify and direct universal energy through our system in a way that everyday life does not allow. This enlivens tissues and areas of the body that have been closed off with high-frequency healing energy, allowing healing and transformation to happen more readily. This class is as much about essence as it is the asanas. Here, we anchor the consciousness in the core of the body, work with the energy while in the asana, and build new circuitry quickly, so we can become seated increasingly as our Soulful/True Self on and off the mat. Ultimately, we cultivate the ability to sense and feel what next asana would be best for our own system. Whether practicing on the mat or in a chair, one can gain great benefit! Come in identified as the mind and walk out as the soul embodied with new-found vitality, strength, flexibility and peace. All levels are welcome.
