From Integration to Revelation to Embodiment: Knowing it in our Bones

Updated: Oct 6

The other day, a client shared that after her B.E.S.T. Session she felt a knowing that it was time for her to address a person from her past and easily stepped into doing so. Their lives no longer overlapped. Yet, she knew the time was now. She messaged the person and received a heartfelt message back. This is an example of integration. As we integrate our energy, we start to sense and feel when it is time for us to address something from our past or present or step into something new. We do so without much deliberation, doubt, or fear, and with a clear grounded presence.

I awoke two days ago thinking about a meaningful person and experience from my past who I had wanted to write for a long time (just shy of 2 decades). The perfect words rose up, so I went to my office to capture them on paper. What was extraordinary was that in writing this letter, I suddenly saw how I had been allowing so little for myself in terms of some of the most beautiful experiences life has to offer. In that moment, a fierce feeling rose up from the depths of my being that said “that stops now.” I felt a visceral shift of what I felt I deserve to experience in life, what I will and will not allow, who I feel myself to be, and the feeling of playing all out. It wasn’t coming from the mind, it was a vibrational shift in the body.

After work that day, my walk became intense! My body was almost running, and I realized with each step, my system was embodying this energetic shift into its muscles, tissues, organs, and bones. I was to know this in my bones, so to speak. I wasn’t intentionally trying to embody in this way. I was simply allowing what was happening to happen. That evening and the following day, I felt supercharged and elated but in a grounded way that leads to action.

What began as a letter addressing an important piece of my past, ended with a revelation about my life, myself, and a further embodiment of the truth of who I am. This is what happens when we integrate our energy and live more and more as that one, the Soulful Self, who will not let us play small. Here’s to playing all out! Have a beautiful week, Everyone!
